Joseph Emmanuel Yaba is a Youth Development Experts and visionary young leader who have accumulated over 10 years of extensive experience in creating and directing the non-profit and community-based organization and has demonstrated an elevated level of leadership abilities among young people, Joseph founded the Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (www.yishda.org) in 2013 with the aim to inspire and educate young people by building their capacity, leadership, and responsibility skills.
In 2013, he was a Youth Delegate to the Inter-generational Dialogue between Heads of State in Africa and represented Nigeria at the Africa Youth Forum as part of the 50th Anniversary of African Unity. He was also a Panelist at the 2nd Edition of the Commonwealth Youth Program-Discovering Young Leaders Program (DYLP) where he held discussions with participants across Africa and the Middle East.
In 2014, he was one of five (5) Nigerians selected to participate in the African Union Youth Volunteer Program (AU-VYC) and was deployed to the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where he dedicated his experience working for the continental organization.
