Ongoing Project

MakeHer Space

The MakeHer Space (MHS) Project is a partnership project with Women’s Technology Empowerment Centre – Lagos that brings together young girls and their facilitators to learn and be inspired through simple tech builds, which they leverage for solving everyday problems in technology hubs. The project seeks to close the existing gender gaps in the Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math (STEAM) related fields, and places a sharp focus on inspiring young women and girls between the ages of 10–25 years, in-school and out-of-school. Past Projects

Girls in Information Communications Technology (ICT) (2013 – 2017)

Girls in ICT was an annual commemoration of the International Telecommunications Union Girls in ICT Day. This annual event was an opportunity to close the gender gap in STEM by inspiring and educating young girls to pursue careers in STEM. It featured a variety of digital skills training that empowered girls and granted them access to mentors in the field of STEM, including field trips to tech hubs.
