Menstrual Hygiene Corner – Government Girls Science Secondary School (GGSSS), Kuje, Abuja

The Menstrual Hygiene Corner Initiative at Government Girls Science Secondary School (GGSSS) Kuje is a school-based intervention established by the Youth Initiative for Sustainable Human Development in Africa (YiSHDA) to promote menstrual health, dignity, and educational continuity for adolescent girls. The initiative provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space where girls can access menstrual hygiene information, sanitary products, counseling, and emergency support during their menstrual periods. GGSSS Kuje is one of the recognized public secondary schools in the Federal Capital Territory education system.
